Name: Gliksman, Henryk


Historical Note: Henryk Gliksman was accused of collaboration with the German administration in the capacity of the Lageraelteste (the Elder of the prisoners) in the labor camp Glashuette (glassworks) in Raków, Poland. In particular, it was believed that he collaborated with the German commandant of the camp. Testimonies of the witnesses are inconclusive and often contradictive.  Some witnesses stated that Gliksman was instrumental in rendering aid and support to the prisoners of this labor camp, while the others regarded his as a collaborator. His defense attorney in the case was Estera Epstein.
