This record group contains collections of photo-documents and narratives produced by the personnel of the Allied armed forces in the aftermath of liberation of the Nazi-German concentration camps in Europe. The Gardelegen Camp Massacre Collection is also part of this record group. Additionally, there is a sub-collection of camp memorials including postwar publications and brochures about museums and memorials at the sites of the former concentration camps. This record group consists of fifteen collections with regard to the liberated concentration camps.
