Name: Wittler, Kurt (1944 -- 1945)

Historical Note: Kurt Wittler, a former émigré from Nazi Germany, served for the US intelligence agencies in Germany. In 1945 he worked for the American Military Government of the US occupation zone in Germany. Wittler was editor-in-chief of the German-language newspaper Bayrischer Tag (A Bavarian Day) published by the American military administration for German population of Bavaria.
