Records Relating to Dr. Julius Kühl Collection | Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust

The materials in this record group relate primarily to Dr. Julius Kühl's wartime service in the Polish consulate in Berne, Switzerland. These documents shed light on his activity, often done in cooperation with Jewish and other refugee organizations, with whom he provided aid to refugees and internees in the German-occupied countries and in other neutral countries. Also included in these materials is information about Kühl's efforts to rescue Jews from Poland, Hungary, and Romania.
