Historical Note: Manfred von Richthofen was known for his prowess as a fighter pilot for the German imperial Army during the First World War. He was nicknamed the Red Baron because of his red fighter plane and wrote an autobiography entitled "Der rote Kampfflieger" (The Red Fighter Pilot) in 1917.
