Name: Gerard, Betti (1934-)
Historical Note: Betti Gerard, or Betti Kobashka, was born in Dortmund, Germany in March 1934. Her father, David Kobeshka, and mother, Fridle Kobashka, were both originally from Poland. Until 1938, Betti remembers her childhood as a beautiful one. She had a brother, Benjamin who was two years older than her, and her parents owned several shoe stores in town.
