Historical Note: Karol Kuryluk was a Polish journalist, publisher, founder and the editor-in-chief of the monthly Sygnaly (the Signals). Sygnaly were published in Lwow (Lviv) in 1933 -- 1939. He also published Odrodzenia (the Revival) in 1944 -- 1948. Karl Kuryluk was Minister of Culture of Poland in 1956 -- 1958 and Amabassador to Austria in 1959 -- 1964.
