Name: National Democratic Movement, Poland or Endecja (1887 -- 1939)
Historical Note: National Democratic Movement under its current name was established in 1897. It became a modern politica party of a nationalist ideology since then. In independent Poland the Movement war reorganized into a political party under the name National- People's Union. In 1928 the party adoptedd the name of National Movement. The Movement was in opposition ot the Government and took a negative stand with regard to all national minorities in Poland, especially the Jewish population.
