Historical Note: the New Life (Nielebn) was a pro-Soviet, socilaist-oriented periodical published in Yiddish and Enlish in New York, US. The publication advocated a Soviet approach to the ethno-national problems. It also stood for the principles of Jewish self-identification, in defense against anti-Semitism and Fascism.
