Abstract

Nasz Przeglad (Our Rview), a Jewish – Polish periodical published in in Warsaw, in 1923 – 1939.

Political orientation reflected a Zionist trend with the emphasis on the views of General Zionist of Central Poland (former Congress Poland).

Opinion-related articles largely express opposite views to the East Galician Zionist political discourse.

The editors over time were Jakub Appenszlak, Natan Szwalb, Saul Wagman and Daniel Rozencqajg.

Circulation amounted to 40000 – 50000 copies.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This publication reflected a secular outlook of Zionist and largely assimilated Jewish society.

Editorial board and contributors regarded a preferred for publication the issues of Jewish domestic politics, Jewish life in Palestine, supported position of the Central Poland, Zionist Organization versus East Galician Zionist Organization. A significant attention on its pages was given to the Polish domestic affairs and international affairs.

Advertisement took a significant part in its columns and unlike in the other publication the advertisements were layout in front pages.

Collection Historical Note

Its content was more of a general news reportages with reflections on Jewish cultural and political issues. A cohort of talented and active Jewish pubic figures and literates centered around Nasz Przeglad.
